The New York State Unified Court System uses Skype for Business (SfB) for both internal videoconferencing and remote video appearances with external, public court users such as litigants, attorneys, and witnesses who will be joining a virtual court videoconferencing call.
The minimum technical requirements for participating in a SfB videoconferencing call are a computer or smartphone with an up-to-date operating system and a high-speed Internet connection. There is no cost to the user for participating in a SfB videoconferencing call.
