Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional layer of security used in conjunction with a username and password. There are different options available to provide this additional layer of security including a six-digit code and a confirmation phone call. The Unified Court System utilizes the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone for Two Factor Authentication. The app displays a separate six-digit code for each system that will require Two Factor Authentication. Each code changes every 30 seconds and there is an indicator to the right of the code that tells you how much time the code has left. The 6-digit code is similar to what you may receive in a text message when trying to log into your bank account.
You will need to set up Two Factor Authentication separately for each of the different areas listed below that apply to you.
