These instructions will walk you through setting up the SoundTap Streaming Audio Recorder.

Registration.
Please have your IT staff send a request to Martin Huynh for a serial number. You must register the serial number online and then the registration code is emailed.

Register SoundTap Here
Setup.
Open SoundTap, click "SoundTap" on the menu and select "Register Software."
Setup:
- DISABLE all other sound devices on the computer to prevent picking up extraneous noise
- Enter "Settings" in the search bar on the left side of the taskbar at the bottom of your screen and hit the "Enter" key
- Select "System"
- Select "Sound" on the menu from the left
- Open SoundTap
- Check the "Also record from microphone" checkbox
- Click "Options" on the menu bar
- Recording Folder - You may keep the default option. It is recommended that you save to OneDrive so the recording is backed up and can be accessed from anywhere.
- Set the Output Format to mp3
- Set the Sound Input Device accordingly. Select the Skype/Softphone audio device. For example, Jabra speaker or headset.
- You can use the defaults for all other settings
