On Ram Navami, many people go to temples and pray to Lord Rama. Some places have big processions with beautiful idols of Lord Rama, Lakshman, Sita, and Hanuman. People chant "Jai Shri Ram" and feel very happy. At home, families make sweets like halwa and laddoo.
