I'm about to pull the trigger on a Solite battery for my daily commuter after reading decent things about them on here, but before I buy I want to understand how the warranty actually works in practice. I've been burned before where a shop sells you a battery with a big warranty promise, then when something goes wrong they suddenly don't handle warranty claims directly and send you to some distributor who never answers the phone. Found a good price on a Solite at https://carbatteryreplacementsharjah.ae/solite-battery/ and the listing mentions warranty coverage but I'd like to hear from someone who's actually made a claim through them. If the battery fails within the warranty period do they come out and test it themselves or do they make you bring the car to them, and if it is faulty do they replace it on the spot or is there some approval process that leaves you without a car for days? Also curious about what the warranty actually covers, like if the battery just stops holding charge due to our summer heat is that considered a manufacturing defect or do they try to blame it on the climate and deny the claim? I know batteries are consumables and they all die eventually, I just want to know that the warranty is actually worth something rather than just being a marketing sticker. Anyone had a Solite replaced under warranty in Sharjah and can share how smooth or painful the process was?
